Change Your Mind and Change Your World What world do you live in? The World of Negative imaginations and thoughts or the one with positive affirmations and a restored mindset. "A man thinketh so he is."
How do you think of yourself? How do you view and perceive yourself on a daily basis, how do you envision your future? If you are having difficulty answering these questions, like we all have, then today's affirmations are for you.
Sunday, I experienced an open discussion with a wise Man of God, Apostle J. T. Boyd, facilitated by Taste and See Sundays.
I highly recommend attending one of their curated events, as they have different insightful speakers weekly. This week he addressed manifesting your reality from the ideas and imagination of your mind. He gave a great example using the building in which the event was held.
That building was once a thought in an architect's mind until he made the intentional decision to create what was in his mind. Everything that we experience was once just a thought in an individual's mind, but the only way that it came to fruition was for them to make the intentional decision to write it down. There were other gems dropped during the podcast, but I will let you head over to Taste and See Sundays to find out more.
For these next two weeks if you have not done so, get the November Journal for mental fortitude or the Melanin Affirmation Journal to make sure you are staying accountable for your self-growth. It is okay to fall off every once and a while just make sure that you get back on the horse. This week and next are going to be addressing release.
I feel that as we age and experience the world we have a tendency to get stuck in our ways or habits that are "comfortable" and not productive toward a purpose or goal. So, our exercise these next two weeks will involve reframing and reshaping. For each night before the start of the following day make sure to do these three things: 1) Take out your clothes for the following day, this may seem basic but this will tell your mind that you have a task to complete for tomorrow 2) Make sure that your bed hygiene is good; meaning not eating in your bed or on your phone right before bed and getting at least 7 hours of sleep per night to prevent mental and physical fatigue 3) Make sure to meditate on your tasks for tomorrow before bed so that you have a clear vision of what needs to be completed prior to the start of the next day During your meditation use the following mental fortitude affirmations: I changed my mind from living in my errors to living in my future self I am a person that is capable of change My past burdens fall off me and I receive every blessing that I have missed from lack of belief I am fortified and edified in who I am I release any and all previous perceptions that I held of myself from the past and from others I am walking in my purpose and assignment for my life Nothing and no one can deter me from God's perfect will from happening in my life I am aligned with who am, and who am to be, and release who I once was My conscious and unconscious mind is one I know that my worth is not based on my outward appearance I am worthy internally and externally for every blessing I am fulfilled in my purpose and assignment I continue to grow and develop my skillsets I am the type of person that is resilient I am a person who creates and maintains success Continue to use these affirmations throughout the next few days to meditate on, perfect, and customize these in your life.
May your November continue to be prosperous and your mind continues to become fortified and edified. Isaiah 40:31 ----------------------------- Proverbs 14:25
